The week number seven state poll is out and fourteen Section Five teams make the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.
In Class A, Fairport moves up one to number 8 and Pittsford moved down to number 18. Penfield makes the Honorable Mention list.
In Class B, Canandaigua remains at number 3. Thomas remains at number six. Brighton moves up two slots to number 12 while McQuaid Jesuit and Irondequoit remain on the Honorable Mention list this week.
In Class C, Geneva moves up one to number 9, Aquinas moves up one number 11 and Penn Yan moves back up from HM to number 13. Palmyra-Macedon, Midlakes, and Bloomfield-Honeoye are on the Honorable Mention list.
The top spots in week six go to West Islip (Section 11) in Class A, Jamesville-DeWitt (Section 3) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
