| New York State Poll Out - Week 1 |
April 9, 2008 -  The first State poll is out today and eleven Section Five
team made the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.
Canandaigua makes the number 9 spot in Class A with Irondequoit (#12)
and Penfield (#15) following. Gates Chili, McQuaid Jesuit, Pittsford and Webster
Thomas made the honorable mention list.
In Class B, Aquinas placed 8th and Victor placed 15th and
in Class C, Penn Yan is in the 6th spot and Livonia goes HM.
The top spots in week one went to West Islip (Section 1) in Class A, Garden
City (Section 8) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class
C.
