| New York State Final Poll Out |
June 18, 2006 - The final New York State Sportswriters
Association Poll is out and Section Five still
has twelve teams on the list.
Penfield remains at the top of Class
A teams in Section Five, this week at #7, while
West Islip remains tops in NYS. In Class B, Brighton
and Geneva are in as Honorable Mentions and Huntington
(Section 11) remains tops in NYS. In Class C,
Penn Yan finishes the list of
Section Five teams and comes in at #4 in NYS.
