| New York State Poll Out |
April 21, 2006 - The second New York
State Sportswriters Association Poll is
out and Section Five still has ten teams
making the list.
Fairport takes over the top honors
in Section Five Class A while, not unexpectedly,
West Genesee remains tops on the list. In
Class B, the list has Victor and Aquinas
as an Honorable Mention (Note: Aquinas is
a Class C team not B) and Huntington (Section
11) still tops the B List. In Class C, Penn
Yan tops the list of Section Five
teams with LaFayette taking top honors in
the State again this week.
