Winter College Commitments

Nick TschetterWinter College Commitments Since last summer, players have been making college decisions. For the 2016 season, there are more than thirty stories which can be found on the Commitment Page.

Throughout the summer and into the fall there have been numerous college decisions made by players planning to continue to play after their high school graduations.

In November there were more announcements that included two freshmen: Sutton Boland (Victor) committed to Penn State, Tim Lischer (Livonia) committed to Michigan. Victor sophomore Connor Keenan decided on Fairfield, Drew Collins (Victor attackman) will go to Lycoming and Irondequoit freshman, Jack Brennan committed to Maryland. Irondequoit freshman, Jack Brennan, announced his commitment to Maryland. Spencerport defenseman Chris Cottom selected Cortland, defenseman Adam Isaac (Canandaigua) chose Tusculum College (Tennessee) and Vince Soeffing (Greece Thunder) will stay close to home when he plays for Roberts Wesleyan. Penn Yan added three more for the college ranks as Tate Stewart will go to Alfred University, Craig Gerhardt will go to Keuka and Nick Griffin will go to alfred State.

In October Irondequoit long stick Dan Harris announced that he will go to Queen`s University. Dylan DeLorme (Fairport) will go to Cortland, Jason Feinberg (Geneva) will move on to St. Michael`s and Victor`s Kyle O`Dea announced he will go to St. John Fisher College. Blake Balcaen decided on Pace University Jake Bucci (Fairport) announce he decision to go to Le Moyne. Mercyhurst will get Canandaigua attackman Ben Smith-Wilcox, Albany had a commitment from Churchville-Chili sophomore attackman Corey Yunker, Andrew Miller (Penfield) announced his decision to got to Thiel College and Western New England will get Penfield`s Brandon Buse.
