November 19, 2015 - Senior Chris Cottom, a defenseman from Spencerport, has recently announced his decision to attend SUNY Cortland and play lacrosse for the Red Dragons.
Chris is a multi-sport student athlete who plays football for the Rangers in the fall. He has started on the varsity lacrosse team since his sophomore season, and has tallied 52 takeaways in two seasons. As a junior, he was selected as a first team defenseman in Monroe County Division 3. He also plays for the Spencerport Lacrosse Club and the Western Royals in the off-season.
At Cortland, Chris plans to major in biology with a concentration in medicine. Cortland is a Division III lacrosse program, and plays in the SUNY Athletic Conference. Before deciding to attend Cortland, he considered; Binghamton, Siena, RIT, and Salisbury.
