August 27, 2014 - When the University of Indianapolis lacrosse team steps on the field for the first time in 2016, among their inaugural team members will be Hilton`s Jarod and Shawn Kimble. The brothers recently made their commitment to attend and play at the new NCAA DII program.
Rising senior goalie, Jarod Kimble has been the starting goalie for the Cadets since his freshman year and in those three years has made 282 saves in his 1,538 minutes in the cage. In his sophomore year he was named to the second team All-League team and was the MVP for Hilton. Last year was named to the first team (MC-d3). He currently hold the Hilton record for most saves in a season. He was named a Connors & Ferris Player of the week in 2014.
Off-season he has played for two years with the Blaze Lacrosse Club and two years with the SweetLax Lacrosse Club. He has played for seven years on the Crease Devils indoor team and also played on the Nike Rising Sophomore team. At the Orange Crush Camp, he was an all-star selection.
His brother, rising senior attackman Shawn Kimble has also been a starter for the Cadets since his freshman year. Last season he led the Hilton team in points and assists with 30g-29a while adding points in all but one game this season. He was recognized as a first team All-League player in 2014. Entering his senior year his career record is 75g-44a.

Key to the decision to play at the University of Indianapolis, was their desire to continue to play together. The UIndy team is being formed now and will play their first NCAA DII games in 2016 under Head Coach Greg Stocks.
