Penfield Lacrosse Celebrates Two College Signings

Senior long stick midfielder, Justin Rehm signed his letter for Sienna College (Loudonville, NY). The NCAA Division I program, coached by first year Head Coach John Svec, finished first in the MAAC league and 12-5 overall. Coach Svec is well known to Section Five fans for his work as the defensive coordinator at Hobart College during the last three seasons.

Justin was named to the All Section Five second team last year and was a first team all league pick for Monroe County - D-1. He was a member of the Brine All-American Lacrosse National Classic championship team last summer. He also played on the Nike Upstate Rising Senior Team.

Also signing during the NLI signing period, was senior midfielder Matt Condon, who will be joining a bunch of Section Five alums at Mercyhurst College (Erie PA). The Lakers won the NCCA D-II National Championship last year and head Coach Chris Ryan was named "Coach of the Year".

Matt has been a varsity contributor at Penfield since ninth grade. He registered 17g-13a (30pts) last season and has a career record of 32g-22a as he enters his senior year. He also played on the Nike Upstate Rising Senior team last summer.
