June 26, 2011 - At the end of each sport season, the NYSPHSAA honors those teams that excel in the classroom. For lacrosse, a team must have at least eleven players who have a 90% average or better during the spring season.
One hundred and forty-two NYS lacrosse teams were named this spring, with Babylon HS (Section 11 taking the highest honors with a team average of 96.402.
