Mynderse defeated Waterloo 16-12. Whitman beat Midlakes 13-11 and Hilton beat Brighton 14-12.  --    On the first Penn Yan shot in overtime, Adam Stork scored (unassisted) on a drive from the top left to give the Mustangs an 8-7 win over Webster Thomas. Thomas won the face-off in overtime and had five shots at the cage before Penn Yan cleared the ball up field and scored. Penn Yan controlled the game multiple times, but the Titans kept fighting back. The game was back and forth for its entirety in three goal streaks for both teams.

Penn Yan started the game off in control. They scored the first three goals including two unanswered goals in the first quarter. Two minutes into the game and Anthony Luppino scored on a feed from Dylan Yonts. Yonts cut from behind the cage and dumped the ball off to Luppino after a slide. Two minutes later and Yonts scored, unassisted, on a drive along the goal-line. The Mustangs led 2-0 after one quarter. In the first quarter, Thomas took seven shots with Penn Yan goalie Brandon Maciejewski making four saves. Maciejewski finished the game with 11 saves (61%).

Ryan Maciejewski scored the first goal of the second quarter to keep the Mustang momentum running. JJ Voigt recorded his first of three assists when he drove to the cage and passed to Maciejewski on the crease. Thomas scored only 0:28 later when Ben Morrill scored the first of his two goals. He drove from the top of the restraining box and after his defenseman got caught in a pick, fired a side-arm shot into the top corner. Morrill's goals started a streak for Thomas and they scored five out of six straight goals, moving from down by three to leading by one goal. With 5:07 remaining in the second quarter, Justin Bird scored on the crease with a feed from John Hill. Penn Yan's second goal of the quarter kept their two goal lead going into halftime. Rion Davison scored during man-up with a feed from Voigt. The Mustangs scored 3/4 on man-up. Penn Yan led 4-2 at the half.

In the third quarter Webster Thomas scored three goals to take the lead. With 6:53 remaining in the quarter, they scored the first goal when Hill scored after a cross-crease pass from Rob Guenther. One minute later Thomas tied the score at 4-4. Morrill drove towards the cage and hit JT Hauck on the crease. Hauck turned, jumped and shot in order to put the ball into the back of the net. This was Hauck's only goal on eight shots (including three in OT). The first lead the Titans had was after an unassisted goal by Hill. The play began with a shot from defenseman Conor Smith. He shot during a clearing attempt and his shot was saved by Maciejewski who could not control the ball. Hill came in and picked up the loose ball off the crease and scored. Penn Yan came back two minutes later to tie the score with another goal from Ryan Maciejewski. This goal was once again scored during man-up and assisted by Voigt. Voigt passed the ball to Maciejewski on the crease. The score was tied 5-5 at the end of three quarters.

Penn Yan came out quick in the fourth quarter and scored two goals. Davison scored with a feed from behind the cage from Maciejewski. Two minutes later Penn Yan scored their third man-up goal. Voigt scored this one (after assisting on the first two) with help from Yonts. Penn Yan had the two goal lead with 5:33 remaining in regulation. Thomas scored their first goal with 2:16 remaining on a straight drive to the cage by Morrill. 0:45 later they scored again when Jake Giudice passed the ball up the side of the cage from behind the net to John Zawacki. Zawacki took the hard shot to the upper corner for the score. Penn Yan had one more chance at the net with time expiring, but Thomas' Don Grace came up with a big save. Grace finished the game with 8 saves.

Thomas' Troy Crevier took the overtime face-off and won. Crevier finished the game 10/12 (83%) at the draw and was a key player in keeping the game close. Of nearly the same importance in the face-off was Hauck on the wing. He finished with five ground balls including three on face-offs. Crevier also finished with five ground balls (and four from his own face-offs). Hauck, after picking up the loose ball from the face-off, went straight to the net, but his shot was wide. The Titans took five shots in overtime, but only hit the cage once. Penn Yan picked up a loose ball from the final shot and called a time-out. They then gave the ball to a midfielder who ran the whole length of the field and set up Stork's game winning drive.

Penn Yan improves to 11-3 and plays at Livonia on Saturday. Thomas (8-7) plays their last regular season game in one week, when they play at Brighton.

 --  Clarence (Section VI) defeated Rush-Henrietta 11-8. The Red Devils continue their undefeated season, moving to 12-0. They have four scheduled games against Section V opponents and have already defeated Penn Yan. Schroeder and Aquinas are on their schedule latter this month.

The Red Devils initially led after one quarter, but the Royal Comets fought back to lead 5-4 at the half and 8-7 after three quarters. Clarence scored the final four goals of the game and held R-H scoreless in the final quarter to secure the win. Leading the scoring for R-H were Torry Whitcher (3g-4a) and Chauncey Scissum (3g). Brighton's CJ Wool added two goals for the Barons in the beginning of the third quarter. Hilton finished out the quarter with another six unanswered goals. The Cadets led 12-8 after three quarters and held on for the final quarter.

Brighton scored four and held Hilton to two, but it was not enough. Casey Kopp added two goals, Steven Cregan added one and Alex Lebowitz added one for the Barons. The game was close for the first two and a half quarters. Spencerport scored the first goal with Matt Kaser assisting Zach Goodsell. Goodsell was the big scorer for the Rangers tonight, finishing with five goals. Jack Burns tied the game for the Blue Devils with an assist from Bill Russell. With 0:30 remaining in the opening quarter, Goodsell added his second goal with another assist from Kaser. The Rangers led after the first quarter 2-1.

In the second quarter, Spencerport took the two goal lead 0:35 into the quarter. Kaser scored with an assist from Ben Tribunella. Two minutes later, Brockport scored their first of three straight goals to end of the quarter. Nick Sutphen scored the first goal and Burns scored the second two. Paul Kysor assisted the first of Burns' goals. The Blue Devils led 4-3 going into halftime.

Spencerport scored the first two goals of the quarter to switch the one goal lead in their favor. Kaser and Goodsell scored. Goodsell's goal was unassisted during man-up play. Three minutes later and Brockport tied the score with another goal from Sutphen (assisted by Burns). With 5:57 remaining in the third quarter the game was tied at 5-5. Then the Rangers kicked up the scoring and added seven unanswered goals. They added three goals in the third quarter and four more to start the fourth quarter. Brockport scored the final two goals of the game in the final two minutes with unassisted goals form Kysor and Sutphen.

In the cage for Spencerport, Tyler Schweikert finished with six saves. Seth Miller finished 18/22 at the face-off draw and a team leading 12 ground balls. Levi Basynnski (8), Dylan Osman (6) and Marcus Palvino (6) added to the count for the Rangers. For Brockport, Hunter DeLany finished with 14 saves (54%).  --  McQuaid Jesuit took two opportunities to score back-to-back goals instead of trading goals with Bath and that was enough to secure the 7-5 victory. Other than those two occasions, every goal was traded back and forth between the two GRALL opponents.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. It wasn't until three minutes into the second quarter that McQuaid Jesuit scored with Gardy Webber assisting Clark Hadley. Webber finished with an impressive four assists for the Knights. With less than one minute remaining in the first half, Bath scored their first goal when defenseman Trevor Lang assisted Drew Wager. With 0:20 remaining in the half, McQuaid Jesuit scored their second goal when Ian Horning assisted Duncan Ayer. The Knights led 2-1 going into halftime.

Bath scored the opening goal of the quarter with an unassisted goal from Jeff Chapman. McQuaid Jesuit scored twice in the span of less than one minute to take the first two goal differential. Brian Nally and Alex Paroda scored for the Knights. With 2:34 remaining, Bath added their third goal with Nick Rossi scoring during man-up play (assisted by Zach Reed). The Knights added the final goal of the quarter in the final minute of play. Josh Bauer scored during an extra-man opportunity for the Knights. The third quarter ended with McQuaid Jesuit leading 5-3.

Bath scored the first goal of the final quarter over halfway through the quarter. Zach Reed scored an unassisted goal with 5:32 remaining to bring the game within one. McQuaid scored one minute later with Webber's third assist of the game to Duncan Ayer. Then with 1:43 remaining the Knights scored their second back-to-back goal when Webber assisted Hadley. 0:22 later Bath scored the last goal of the game when Nick Rossi assisted Kyle Harrison with 1:21 remaining. In the cage for McQuaid Jesuit, Pat Sheridan finished with ten saves (67%). For Bath, Andrew Clark recorded 14 saves (67%).

 --  Marcus Whitman traveled to Midlakes with a roster of 13 players and came away the 13-11 victor. The Wildcats won the ground ball battle 39-23 and won 16/25 face-offs. They came out in the first quarter with a number of opportunities, but couldn't find the cage. The Eagles took a 1-0 lead after the first quarter. But in the second quarter the Wildcats' shots started to convert and they scored six goals. Once they took over the lead, they never lost it.

Leading the scoring for Marcus Whitman were junior Taylor Lazzaro (4g) and freshman Matt Hall (3g). In the cage, Merritt Bailey finished with nine saves.
