The Rams used steady scoring over four quarters in their 14-9 win at Spencerport tonight. McQuaid Jesuit finished their west coast tour with a 10-3 loss to La Costa Canyon (CA) last night.

-- Bath scored seven unanswered goals spanning the first three quarters in their 14-8 win over Spencerport. The Rams were dominant in the second and fourth quarters, holding the Rangers scoreless.
Spencerport scored the first two goals of the game in the first four minutes. Matt Kaser and Ben Tribunella scored unassisted goals at 9:14 and 8:46 to give the Rangers the early lead. Bath scored the next seven goals including four in the first quarter. All four goals in the first quarter were assisted with Nick Rossi (2), Brian Gable and Drew Wager scoring. Gable, Wager (2) and Zach Reed assisted. The first quarter ended with Bath leading 4-2. In the second quarter the Rams scored the only two goals. Matt Schlink and Gable each added one unassisted goal. The first half ended with Bath leading 6-2.
In the third quarter Spencerport started a comeback. The Rangers added six goals and held Bath to only three. Even with the increased scoring, the Rangers never led. Levi Basynnski scored (unassisted) with 10:07 remaining in the third quarter. The scoring went back and forth until 4:41 remaining in the third quarter when Spencerport scored three straight goals. All three goals were scored by Marcus Palvino. Seth Miller and Matt Kaser assisted the first two goals and the third goal was unassisted. The quarter ended with Spencerport within one goal, but Bath leading 9-8.
Bath held Spencerport scoreless in the final quarter and added five more to their tally. Gable and Reed each added two goals and Nick Rossi added the final goal. Rossi assisted two goals and Gable and Reed assisted one each. In the cage for Spencerport, Tyler Schweikert finished with nine saves. For Bath, Andrew Clark played the entire game and recorded nine saves.

Although they came out flat in the first quarter, the Knights played well against the Mavericks' starters for the next three quarters. A physical game, the Knights continued to sustain injuries and finished the last there quarters with only fourteen field players.
Senior defenseman, Ryan Sheridan had a big hit in the second quarter which changed the flow of the game. Senior goalie Pat Sheridan, after the first quarter, went 3s/3ga and he finished the game with 12s/10ga. Senior midfielder Ryan Williams scored all three goals, with junior attackman Duncan Ayer assisting him on one goal. The Mavericks improve to 9-3 while the Knights return to Section Five at 3-4.
