Victor 2009 - Only three players are missing from the 2009 Victor roster; starting First Team defenseman Luke Wieser and starting goalie Kevin Donnelly who both graduated and the leading producer in goals, assists and points, Vince Pettrone who did not come out for the team this season. All three will be difficult to replace this season, however Coach Ballou writes, "We return a great deal of young contributors from last season and are hoping to improve each and every game."

The loss of Pettrone is a serious blow to offensive production. Junior Trevor O'Shea was named to Second Team All League (attack) and will need to step into a key leadership role to get Victor's offense off the ground. Sophomore Mitch Rupp (10g-1a) in the attack and junior Connor Kimball (16g-4a) in the midfield will both look to extend their scoring this season.

Defensively, Nick Basile played 136 minutes last season spanning seven games and finished with 15 saves. With the graduation of Wieser, the Blue Devils will have to look to new blood to fill in the close defense.

Monroe County Division II looks to be the most competitive league schedule this season and Victor will have a difficult time keeping pace. With the league orientation, only three out of league games can be scheduled and Victor will play Eastridge, Spencerport and Livonia.
