 March, 2010 - Mynderse finished fourth in Finger Lakes Division II with a 3-5 record (4-12 overall). The Blue Devils lost to Pal-Mac in the first round and finished Sectionals as seeded. Graduation was rough on the Blue Devils with ten players graduating last year and only ten returning. The loss of AJ Bachman, Charlie Barbay and Steve Lucchesi will devastate their attack and Mike Warrick at midfield will be difficult to replace. Barbay continues to play this season at Alfred.
Leading goal scorer, Nick Giovannini (27g-8a) returns this season along with Matt Koopman (20g-11a) and both were named to Second Team All League last season. There are only nine new players on the nineteen player roster this year.
Defenseman Jesse Janas will anchor the defense in front of returning starting goalie Tim Trickler. Janas was one of only two players, last year, to receive first team honors. Trickler, a freshman this season, finished last year with 230 saves (53%). Mynderse can only schedule two out of league games and they have decided to play both against Bath.
