  -- It was a close game throughout and a single goal in the third quarter gave Penn Yan a 7-6 win at Geneva this afternoon. Jordan Owen (3g) and Nate Nichols (2g and 5gbs) led the Mustangs offense while Cody Richardson recorded ten saves in the goal. Penn Yan (7-6) finishes their season with Penfield and Amherst next week.

Pal-Mac finished the season with Midlakes and Geneva next week.

  --  Although Bath took the early 9-5 lead, Midlakes scored nine unanswered goals and thirteen out of the last fourteen goals to win 18-10 and controlled the final 29 minutes. In the second half, face-off man Tyler Brooks-Lambert dominated the draw winning 10/11 draws. The ball control in the second half was one of the key aspects of the Eagles win.

Bath came out strong scoring the first five goals of the game. The Rams scored their first goal when Brian Gable found Matt Nesbitt open for the goal. The next three Ram goals were scored in less than 20 seconds. Bath scored at 8:49, 8:40 and 8:24 remaining in the fourth quarter to jump to a 4-0 lead. Gable added the fifth goal for the Rams with 5:37 remaining in the quarter. Midlakes scored their first goal with an unassisted tally by Nick Judge only 0:42 later. Bath added another goal with Zach Reed assisting Nick Rossi with 4:13 remaining. Midlakes added the final two goals of the quarter. Scoring by Brooke-Lambert and Judge rounded out the first quarter. Bath led 6-3 after the first quarter. It was the only quarter where Bath maintained the lead.

Midlakes scored gain to open the second quarter only 0:18 in. Brandon Sauve scored with an assist from Cory Gray. Bath added their seventh goal with an assist from Gable to Martuscello. Martuscello scored all three goals for the Rams in the second quarter. Midlakes added one more goal with Judge scoring (assisting by Rob Buchwald). Martuscello added the next two goals for Bath (with Reed assisting the first goal). With 7:39 remaining Bath held the 9-5 lead and Midlakes was prepared to score the next nine goals. Midlakes scored five goals before the end of the first half to take the 10-9 lead. Barilla and Gray each added two goals with Judge added one.

In the third quarter, the Eagles continued their onslaught, scoring another four goals before the Rams scored their final goal of the game. Gray added two more goals with Buchwald and Brooks-Lambert adding one each. Sauve added three of the four assists (with the last being unassisted). Bath's final goal was scored by Rossi (unassisted). The third quarter ended with Midlakes leading 14-10. In the third quarter Brooks-Lambert won 6/6 face-off draws.

In the fourth quarter, Midlakes scored the only four goals and held Bath scoreless. Judge added two of the final goals with Gray and Sauve adding the last two goals. Midlakes control of the ball kept the Rams from being able to put an offense together. Additionally, when the Rams did have shots at the cage, goalie Matt Brennessel played well in the second half. Brennessel finished with five saves in the second half and seven overall. For the Rams, Robert Masti played most of the game (39 minutes) and finished with nine saves. Adam Force played time in both the second and third quarters, but did not finish with a save.

  --  The Rangers won a 12-6 victory over Batavia this afternoon. Spencerport started with a 3-1 first quarter led and both teams scored four goals in the second, giving Spencerport a two goal lead. Both teams added one more goal in the third.

Spencerport took off in the last quarter, scoring four unanswered goals including two by Austin Hintz who ended the game with three goals and two assists. Kristan Barbato led scoring for the Rangers with 6g-1a while Tyler Schweikert recorded 11 saves. Spencerport (6-7) finishes their season with ER and Thunder next week.

Will Mulcahy (3g), Kyle Maniace (2g-2a) and Joe Pedro (2g-3a) led Batavia's scoring while Theo Hill made 19 saves. The Blue Devils (7-6) finish their season with Eastridge and Bath next week.

Leading the offense were Tyler Gorgione (6g), Dan Vyverberg (4g-4a) and Nick Kraft (3g). Greece Ath/Ody (9-5) finishes with the second "storm game" (Lighting) on Tuesday and Spencerport on Thursday.

Greece won the first quarter 4-1, but the Kings came back in the second with three unanswered goals to force a 4-4 tied at the half time break. The Lightning took a one goal advanced in the third and added one more to their lead in the last quarter to secure the win.

Sophomore goalie Shane Trost made 13 saves for the Lightning, while Richard Fischer (3g-2a), Kendrick Heintzelman (1g-3a) and David Powlowski (2g-1a) led the offensive charge for the Greece. There was no report from Bishop Kearney tonight.
