Once again this year, SportsFive will publish, each week, rankings in each class. SportsFive will continue to publish the New York State Sportswriters poll and will provide links to the Laxpower national polls.

The some significant changes this week and, perhaps even more changes next week as we begin the last two weeks of the regular season. That's right, Sectional start in three weeks!

The top two in each Class continue to remain the top two, but, for the first time this season, Canandaigua drops into the number two slot after their overtime loss to number one, Thomas.

CLASS A
Fairport and Pittsford remain in the first and second spots respectively. The Panthers has a good win against Brighton on Saturday and their only loss so far is a two goal loss to Canandaigua in the first game of the year. Schroeder's losing streak drops them from three to five, so Penfield and Rush-Henrietta move ahead of the Warriors.

Schroeder gets a shot at Pittsford on Tuesday and the Panthers will be play McQuaid on Thursday. Penfield and Schroeder play on Thursday and R-H has Fairport and Penfield this week.

CLASS B
In an exciting game on Thursday, Webster Thomas took an overtime win from visiting Canandaigua and as a result swap slots with Canandaigua. McQuaid plays an important game with Pittsford on Thursday and is third place this week. Brighton moves up to number four with a good showing against Pittsford and Irondequoit gets pushed down to number five.

CLASS C
The Penn Yan, at 7-5 is still the team to beat in Class C although Aquinas is a worth opponent in the second slot. Penn Yan continues to play tough contests with Thomas on Thursday and Geneva on Saturday. Aquinas plays Bath on Tuesday and then takes the rest of the week off. Geneva's shutout of Bloomfield-Honeoye bumps them into third and B-H into fourth. Midlakes plays four games this week including B-H on Monday.

GAMES THIS WEEK
There are only two weeks left in the regular season and still some good match ups to be seen.

Midlakes and

B-H play on Monday afternoon and McQuaid goes to Livonia.

Penfield hosts R-H , Eastridge and Gates Chili and Thomas is at HFL on Tuesday.

Bloomfield-Honeoye and Pal-Mac sort it out on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Schroeder is at Penfield and McQuaid is at Pittsford. Thomas is at Penn Yan and Churchville-Chili is at Irondequoit.

On Friday, Hamburg, who could be the Section Six Champ in Class B plays at Canandaigua and on Saturday Penn Yan is at Geneva and BK is at Arcadia.

Of course, if you team is playing, it is the Game of the Week.
