special --  In the second game of the afternoon, Orchard Park defeated Webster Thomas 22-10. The Quakers won each of the the first two quarters 4-1.  op-rltOrchard Park dominated in shots with 53 (Thomas had 23).  Of significance was the shooting percentages as both teams were nearly equal on goals from shots (42% and 43%).  This means that the difference came from volume, with the odds of any given shot resulting in a goal being equal between the two teams.

Orchard Park scored seven of the first eight goals spanning the first two quarters.  Jeff Tundo was the big scorer in the game with 5g-3a for the Quakers.  Sean Rimmer (6g) and Artie Marrapese (4g-1a) were also major scoring threats for Orchard Park.  Tundo and Marrapese alone accounted for more shots (24) than the entire Thomas team.

The game overall was hard hitting form both sides of the field. There were two incidents that required the game to be stopped and an athlete helped off the field. The game had ten penalties (more than both other games combined), including one unsportsmanlike conduct call.
