June 5, 2009 - All Tournament Teams have been announced for 2009. MVP for A, B and C were Kenny Tomeno (Thomas), Deven Alves (Canandaigua) and, for the second year in a row, Matt
Osgood (Penn
Yan).
Matt Osgood (Penn Yan) was named Section Five Offensive Player of the Year. Sean Regan (Canandaigua) was named Defensive Player of the Year and Kyle Van Thof (Penfield)
was named Sportsman of the Year More. . . .
Eastridge High School received the Sportsmanship Award from
the Genesee Valley Lacrosse Officials Association. The award was renamed this year in honor of long time lacrosse enthusiast and official Steve Morgan, who tragically died a few weeks ago. His wife along with his son, Todd, Head Coach for HFL, were on hand to help present the award.
