May 20, 2009 - Bath Haverling was the 14-3 winner over visiting Newark in the only game on Wednesday.

-- The Bath Rams started with a 6-1 half on their way to a 14-3 win over Newark. Bath started out slowly but scored three goals in the last three minutes of the first quarter to take a 3-0 lead. Bath had a season high 48 shots on goal and Newark goalie Dominic Camblin did an excellent job in the first half making 10 saves. However, Bath's domination on ground balls led to more scoring opportunities.
Bath's defense led by Brent Harrison (11gbs. 2g), Trevor Lang (5gbs), Tim Wolfer and LSM Tyler Hutcheson did an excellent job protecting goalies Chris Wolfer (6 saves, 1ga) and Tyler Reed (4 saves, 2ga). The defense limited Newark to 19 shots for the game.
Scoring for Bath were Brian Gable (1g), Nick Rossi (2g-2a), Mark Martuscello (1g-3a), Zach Reed (3g-3a), Tyler Reed (1g), Cole Beebe (2g), Drew Wager (1g), Andy Nesbitt (1g) and Brent Harrison (2g). Chris Wolfer had 6s/1ga (24 min) and Tyler Reed had 4s/2ga (24 min).
Jack Timerson scored 3g and Dominic Camblin made 15s/14ga for Newark. |
