Saturday Games - ESG 2007 |
July 28, 2007 - Long Island captured the Gold on
Saturday, when they defated Central, but the Silver
and Bronze medals are still up for grabs on Sunday.
Western began the first game as the dominant force, winning the first
two face-offs and controlling the ball in the offensive area of the field.
Hudson Valley came back to make it a close game. In the end it was Western
6 - Hudson Vally 4.

In the 4:30 game, it was Adirondack over New
York City 7-5. Although New York City opened
up the scoring with the only two goals of the
first quarter, Adirondack came back and outscored
NYC 7-3 in the last three. Scott Margolis scored
the first goal of the contest (assisted by Anthony
Adler). With Only 0:23 left in the first quarter
Adler scored one of his own.

In what was expected to be the best game of the
tournament, Long Island was
the 12-7 winner of the undefeated teams. The
pwerful win by Long Island secured for them gold
medal. The
