March 28, 2004 - Three local lacrosse stars will come together to direct a local lacrosse camp
and league for boys and girls in grades 3-12. The camps will be
run at McQuaid Jesuit Jesuit High School from July 12th to July 16th. For the first
time in Rochester, over 15 Professional Lacrosse players and coaches will come
to the Rochester area to help develop players.
Camp directors include Chris Schiller currently of the Rochester Rattlers and
Rochester Knighthawks, Brent Rothfuss currently of the Boston Cannon and a former
Rochester Knighthawk. and Rob Warren, Head Coach of the McQuaid Jesuit Knights and
Rochester Chapter President of US Lacrosse. Schiller, a McQuaid Jesuit and Penn State
graduate, was and member of the All America team in 1999 and has play pro ball
since 2001.
Warren, also a McQuaid Jesuit graduate, attended Penn State where he won the Pittenger
Award for the MVP in 1996. Rob was acquired by the Rochester Rattlers in the
2001 MLL Supplemental Draft. He currently serves as President of the local USLacrosse
Chapter and is the first year Head Coach at McQuaid Jesuit.
