| Players of the Week - April 10, 2006 |
April 10, 2006 - The Player of
the Week awards are out for week two and
the three deserving winners were selected
from a field of twenty-four nominees.
The Mike Barnard Sportsman of the Week is
senior attackman Zack Scheetz
of Canandaigua. In his nomination he was
described as a great young man who treats
fellow players and his coaches with great
respect.
The Graphtex Offensive of the Week is awarded
to junior attackman, Brian Sciera
of Livonia. In five games this
year, Brian has scored 17 goals and 8 assists
including 8g-1a against Eastridge and 3g-1a
against Waterloo this week.
The Graphtex Defensive Player of the Week
is awarded to senior defenseman, Tristan
Keas of Penn Yan. Tristan is a
key leader in the Mustang defense that held
Victor and Canandaigua to a total of three
goals last week.
