 -

SPENCERPORT
s5 - Spencerport finished 3rd in the Monroe County-2 division in their first year at Varsity with a 7-7 league record and at 7-10 over all.spencerport1 Junior attackman Rob Stojanov, was named to the MC-2 All League list. The Rangers were seeded 9th in the Class A tournament and finished 9th after a loss to Rush-Henrietta (21-7).

Spencerport only lost two players to graduation. Gone are long stick middie Marc Hosey (Brockport), and attackman Dan Marino.

Back are senior attackman Rob Stojanov, senior defenseman Cameron Stormo, junior defenseman Jeff Konko and senior midfielder Stephen DiFulvio along with the rest of the team. The top newcomer is attackman Phil Schmid.

Coming off a 14-2 JV season in 2004, the 2005 Rangers did well in their first Varsity season and were well placed in Monroe County-2. Based on their performance last year, Spencerport will do well in the new MC-3 division, as last year they beat most of the teams that will be in this new division. Coach Dawes has added a number of MC-2 games and has scheduled Webster Schroeder as well. Stojanov is a force and will produce goals and ball time for the Rangers. Konko and DiFulvio proved themselves last year and Sformo will match up well against the opponent’s best player.
