Preseason 2006 - Mynderse
 -

MYNDERSE
myn - Mynderse Academy finished third in the Finger Lakes-2 division last year with a 5-3 record (5-11 over all). The Blue Devils were seeded 5th in the Class C side of the B/C tournament and finished there after a loss to Pal-Mac (16-0) in the quarter final round.

Seven players graduated from the team of eighteen including attackmen Chris Warrick and Andy Zaverella and midfielders Troy Gothem and Tim Ellis. The defense lost Randy Dove, Brad Temple and Erik Prudehome.

Returning are seniors Erik Davids and Justin Mawir in defense, seniors Sean McGrimley and Jon Young in attack and senior Craig Smith and juniors Kevin Mcully, Tim Sweeting and Josh Kurdziolek.

Top newcomers include senior Zac Rescorl in the goal, juniors Anthony Clark (att) and Enthont Pallidino (goal), and sophomores Dustin Luckinbill (a/m), Mike Sanderson (def) and Chris Damato (mid).

A couple of games against Utica Proctor fell through leaving Mynderse with a 15 game schedule with mostly Finger Lakes games. Coach Caraher was able to get games with Bath and a couple with Pebble Hill (Section 3). Mynderse will have a lot of younger players this season but will win some games in the FL-2 division. They will, however, struggle with the best of the Finger Lakes teams.
