 -

BATH
s5 - Bath finished last in GRALL last year (0-6) and 4-14 over all. Senior Ryan Finney received GRALL all league honors in attack, senior Jeremy Sutfin in midfield and Alex Durham in defense. Dunham was also named “Co-Player of the Year”.

bath1The Rams were seeded 7th on the Class C side of the B/C tournament and finished at 7th with a first round loss to Aquinas (10-2).

More than half the team was lost to graduation in 2005. Lost in the attack were Ryan Finney, Liam Glover (Alfred), Ryan Pomeroy, and Chris Osborne. The midfield lost Jeremy Sutfin, Brian Fisher and Greg Gleason. The defense lost Alex Durham (Alfred) and Ryan Pedersen.

Back are senior Zac Conrad in attack, junior Bryant Madigan and senior Elliott Cornaire in defense and senior Jeremiah Wilder. Seniors Kyle Benesh and Collin Muller, junior Steve Joint and sophomores McKenzie Durham and Kevin Derosier return in midfield. Top newcomers include senior Ryan Metz and sophomore David Harris in midfield, and juniors Brad Fuerst (att), John Pruyn (att) and Aaron Creighton (def).

The Rams had a tough time last year even with a few standout players, including Durham in defense and Sutfin in midfield and their loss will make this season tougher. There are a number of good athletes returning and the coaching staff will work hard, but, on paper, this should be a building year for the Rams.
