| March 7, 2002 - Western Lacrosse Team Coach Bob Streeten (Corning East) has announced the tryout schedule for the 2002Empire State Games which will take place in Cortland from July 31st to August 4th.

The "TBA" practices will be filled with scrimmage games with the Central Empire Team and other All-Star teams from Rochester, Buffalo, Long Island, Corning and Penn Yan areas.
Players are expected to commit to attending all practices.
