Rising senior attackman Dan LaCrosse recently announced his decision to play lacrosse at Colgate University (Hamilton NY).
The quick and tough offensive player for Canandaigua has been playing for the varsity since his sophomore year. Last season he amassed 24g-11a for the Braves.
Off season he has played for the Nike rising junior team and his summer played on the Western Region team in the Empire State Cup tournament.
Named as Head Coach for Colgate last summer, Mike Murphy led the 2012 team to a Patriot regular-season championship title. The team produced its best season in program history (14-4) which included a 6-0 winning streak, a 6-2 record against nationally-ranked opponents and an exciting victory over top-ranked UMass in the NCAA opening round.
