McQuaid Jesuit Selects Coach Bryson
 -  McQuaid Jesuit Jesuit High School has appointed Scott Bryson to direct its lacrosse program. Bryson, the long time Pittsford Assistant Coach replaces Rob Warren who served one year for the Knights.
   
Coach Bryson was involved in the Pittsford program for more than twenty years. He was the first coach of the modified (7th and 8th grade) program, was responsible for starting the first program for women's lacrosse in Pittsford, and started the first inter-town lacrosse league for elementary lacrosse players. For 8 years he served as the Head Junior Varsity Coach, while assisting at Varsity as well. He served as the Varsity Defensive Coach until 2003. In 2001 he was USLacrosse "Man of the Year".

Coach Bryson has been a Defensive Coach for the Empire State Games and has directed a number of out-of-season lacrosse leagues.

Bryson who is currently Director of Practicum / Internships for the Sport Studies Department at St. John Fisher College was the Director of Recreation the Town of Pittsford for many years.
  
Coach Bryson has been an consistent advocate of sportsmanship and the values of athletics and been a contributor to SportsFive web pages.
  
He is married to Denise Shook Bryson and they have two daughters, Elizabeth and Erica.
