June 13, 2012 - Back in May, McQuaid Jesuit senior goalie Pat Sheridan signed a spring National Letter of Intent to continue his lacrosse career while studying at Limestone College. Sheridan, who played four years for the Knights, finished his career with 2,442 minutes in the cage and recorded 573 saves. In his senior year he had 197 saves (62%).
Limestone, in Gaffney, South Carolina, has won two NCAA DII championships, the most recent in 2002. They have been in the finals six times since 2000 and have won six conference titles. J. B. Clark is the current Head Coach of the Saints.
Sheridan will be joining former Aquinas defenseman Anthony Starnino who is currently a sophomore.
