Overall in GRALL, Livonia appears to have the strongest returning team. However, all five teams have strengths to demonstrate in the up-coming season.
Offensively, the top program in GRALL is Livonia. The Bulldogs, return the strongest attack with Josh Wester (1st), Wyatt Struble (1st) and Cody Cisco. Although some of the other programs have one or two offensive stars, the Bulldogs have many. Joining the attackmen, midfielders Derek Bishop (1st) and Mitchell Kinney will add striking power from up field. Across the league there are other stand outs in Alex Bianchi (Aquinas), Jake Vogl (HM - Aquinas), Jeff Chapman (Bath) and Duncan Ayer (HM - McQuaid Jesuit).
Defensively, Aquinas is the top program with Bath appearing to be in the running. Both have 1st Team GRALL players returning in Marc Pettrone (Aquinas) and Trevor Lang (Bath). Aquinas also has junior James Hedger (HM) returning to their lineup. Also returning is Tom Prato (HM) from Livonia. McQuaid Jesuit looks to Luc Bailey and Josh Swartzman to step up after losing many defensemen to graduation last season. Bishop Kearney will look to Mike Flaherty to lead their defense. All five programs have the 2011 starting goalie returning this season. Pat Sheridan (1st Team) from McQuaid Jesuit and Ethan Jamison (HM) from Livonia look to be the strongest contenders.
