Monday: Canandaigua !
 -  It was an incredible game of undefeated league teams, with well over 600 people in attendance at Penn Yan Academy and the "true lacrosse fans" were not disappointed in a thrilling game played by great competitors.

The Mustangs won the face off at the start of the third and Van Houten picked up the ground ball and scored with just 13 seconds off the clock. Penn Yan defenseman, Michael Manley had a strong takeaway and ran down field to score at 10:06. Canandaigua's Emery came back at the 9:31 mark with a tying goal assisted by junior attackman, Aaron Manzer. The ball went back and forth until the Braves got another point blank shot off at 5:50. Wickham made a great save, but the ball popped out and was picked up by CA junior attackman, Brain Hadsell who dished the ball to Mulheron for a goal at 5:36. The third quarter ended in a tie at 6-6.

The last quarter was all about defense as both Mustangs goalie, Wickham (20s) and Braves goalie, Dan Serafine (6s) made impressive saves. Penn Yan's Michael Manley cleared the ball in dramatic fashion and his teammate, sophomore defense-man , Tristan Keas picked up key ground balls for the Mustangs. Canandaigua's defensive unit that included Brian McWilliams, Ryan Cunningham, Grady Moore and Mike Serron played exceptional team defense with well-timed slides.

After Serron's take and clear, Coach John Johnson called his last time out with 1:00 left in the game. His plan was clear when the whistle sounded as the Braves worked the clock down to 10 seconds. The shot by Mike Pane missed the cage but CA had the cage backed up. With 0:06 left in the game, Mulheron ran from behind the cage and scored the winning goal.

Long time lacrosse official, Bruce Teague, who was working the game was heard saying, "This is what lacrosse is all about." It was a great game.

In another close game, it was Victor over host McQuaid Jesuit, 7-6. Although the Blue Devils went up 5-0 at the start of the game, McQuaid Jesuit came back with two goals to end the half with Victor up 5-2. The Blue Devils saw points from Kyle (3a) and Erik (2g) Rogenmoser and junior attackman, Cory Benulis (2g). Ben Cerza, Mike Burns, and Chris Potter each scored 1g for Victor (5-5).
