Friday: Two More Seeding Upsets
 -  Most of the game was played on Thursday and after more than three quarters, Geneva (#3) was ahead of Waterloo (#2) 8-1 when the game was halted for lightning. The last nine minutes were played today and Geneva was the winner, 12-2. At McQuaid Jesuit, Victor took a 6-1 halftime lead but a scrappy Aquinas team early sent the game into overtime. Victor won 10-9 and moves on the the finals.
  
 The number 3 seed, Geneva controlled the ball for a majority of the game and after a slow start picked up a number of goals on short bursts. With a little over nine minutes left in the game, lightning was spotted and after a delay, officials decided to end the game for the night with Geneva up 8-1.
 
The end of the game was played on Friday night and the Panthers picked up where they left off, scoring 3 quick goals in less than a minute and a half. Waterloo scored in the last minute to end the game 12-2.
  
Scoring for Geneva were Luke Bonney (4g-1a), Dan Rago (2g), and Matt Warner 91g-2a). Greg Bonney scored (2g-1a), Mark Bloom (2g) and Dave Gillotte (1g) added to the score while Jake Queener (1a) and Craig McDonald (2a) added assists for Geneva. Nick Sharman (9s) and Matt Hannan (1s) combined for 10 saves for the Panthers.
  
TJ Radka and Dave Osbourne scored for Waterloo who end their season at 13-4. Geneva will meet Penn Yan in the Finals on Wednesday (5:15 at Fisher).
  
 In the Class B semi final, Victor, the number 3 seed, took a 6-1 halftime lead and ended with a win over #2 seed, Aquinas, 10-9. Although one-sided in the first half, Aquinas came back strong in the third quarter with five goals over a six minute span and brought the game within one with 1:27 left in the game. 
  
Victor was led by senior attackman, Chris Potter (3g-1a) and junior attackman, Cory Benulis (3g). Four others scored one goal each, including Kyle Rogemoser, Mike Burns, Ben Cerza (1g-3a) and Kyle Sullivan (1g-1a). Mike Pupparo added and assist for the Blue Devils. Andy Bowerman made 11s for Victor (10-7).
  
JP Gorman led the Aquinas effort with 4g-1a including three of the last four goals for the Little Irish. Also scoring was sophomore middie, Pat King (3g) and David Schmandt (1g-3a). Sophomore middie, Connor Burgasser added 1g-2a for Aquinas. Jeff Walker recorded 7s for the Little Irish.
  
Victor will face Brighton in the finals on Wednesday in the first game of the day (3:00 at St. John Fisher College).
