Three Games on Friday
 -  With only five games left in the regular season, three were played today. Livonia finished their season with a 16-5 win over Pal-Mac, Spencerport finished with a 9-5 win over Batavia and The Greece Lightning lost to Corning West 18-4 in Friday action.
    

Livonia 16 - Pal-Mac 5

redspot Although the first half was close (1-1, 4-4), a 12-1 second half effort game Livonia a 16-5 win over Pal-Mac in the last game of the regular season for both teams. Pal-Mac goalie Tim Doyle had 18s/14ga (44 mins) and Jeff Kier had 1s/2ga (4 mins). "They have a great goalie that kept them in the game for a while but we kept getting after it on the ground balls and face-offs and that made a big difference in the game," commented Livonia Coach Brett Wood. "Our Seniors played with allot of pride and no one gave up even when the game was close."
  
Scoring for Livonia were Larry Heath (1g), Tyler Russell (4g), Cameron Ross (3g), Aaron Miller (1g), Jeff Wester (2g-6a), Matt Girolmo (1g-1a), Chris Bausch (3g-1a) and Mike Donals (1g). Justin Becker had 12s/5ga for the Bulldogs who finish 11-7.
  
Scoring for Pal-Mac were Justin Closser (2g), Pete Maklos (2g), Chris Merritt (3a), Mike DeMarr (1a) and Tyler Best (1g). Pal Mac finishes 6-12.
    

Spencerport 9 - Batavia 5

redspot Tonight's game (won 9-5 by Spencerport) was to be the last regular season game for both teams in the regular 2008 lacrosse season, as well as Senior Night for Batavia, as they send a total of ten Seniors off. Spencerport senior Kyle Breach opened up the game, scoring 0:19 seconds into the game, and the again eight minutes later.
  
Batavia tied the game after each Ranger goal with unassisted goals by Gary Renney and Chip Chapman. The Rangers scored two more goals before closing out the half with a 4 - 2 lead.
  
Ian Chapman scored following a pass from Joe Muoio in the first minute of the second half. With nearly seven minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, Chip Chapman scored his second goal of the night, and for the second time, he tied the score, this time at 5-5. It was all Spencerport from that point on, with two goals each from Kyle Mark and Jon Robinson. Between the pipes, Ranger Goalie Mike Palvino (18s/5ga) and Blue Devil Goalie Matt Landfried (30s/9ga) each worked hard to keep the scoring as low as possible, and the save percentage above 70%.
  
Scoring for Spencerport were Kyle Mark (2g-2a), Sean DeMers (1g-2a), Kyle Breach (2g), Jon Robinson (2g), Nick Fischer (1g-1a), Pat Crumb (1g), Rich Larock (1a) and Steve Hogan (1a) as the Rangers finish at 9-7).
  
Scoring for Batavia were Chip Chapman (2g), Joe Muoio (1g-1a), Gary Renney (1g) Ian Chapman (1g) and Zach Fay (1a) who finish at 2-14.
       

Corning West 18 - Greece Arc/Oly 4

redspot Corning West (Section 4) traveled to Greece this afternoon for a 18-4 win against the Greece Lightning. Zach Bevilacqua had 13s/13ga (36 mins) and Anthony White made 5s/5ga (12 mins) for the Arc/Oly. Frank Slapar scored four goals, Nick DiGrazia and Brandon Wood each had one assist. Information was not available for Corning West (9-9).
