April 25, 2008 - The visiting teams were winners as Canandaigua beat host
Canisius (Section 6) 14-6 and visting Hamburg beat Penn Yan 12-9 in Friday
night action.
Canandaigua 14 - Canisius 6
Canandaigua went
right to work and using 11 different players finished with a 14-6 win over
host Canisius (Section 6). The Braves led at half time 10-1.
Scoring for Canandaigua were Justin Tomzak (1g-1a), Connor Henderson (1g),
Austin Rogers (1g), Marshall Johnson (1g-1a), Andrew Knoblauch (2g-1a), Gannon
Osborn (1g-2a), Sean Regan (1a), Evan Roth (1g), Tanner Scharr (2g-2a), Deven
Alves (2g-1a) and Will Johnson (1g). Scott Bement played in the goal for the

Hamburg 12 - Penn Yan 9
Hamburg (Section 6) started with a 5-1 lead after the first quarter, but Penn Yan came
back for a 5-5 tie at the half. At the end of the third the Bulldogs lead by
one (9-8) before finishing with the win 12-9 over the Mustangs.

Linnan (2a), Jordan Owen (1a), Brendan Minor (2g) and Dana Wilber (1a). Ethan
