Eastridge in OT, Spencerport over Arc/Oly
 -  Monday night saw two games in Section Five. Although the Thunder led for much of the game, Eastridge came back with five goals in the fourth quarter.
  

Eastridge 9 - Greece Ath/Ody 8  OT

redspot The Greece Thunder (Ath/Ody) led for much of the game and started the fourth quarter up 6-3, but Eastridge scored five goals to take a 8-6 lead. The Thunder responded and Eric Bodine scored the 8th goal for Greece to send the game into over time where Eastridge won at 2:54 with a goal by Matt Driffill. The Thunder defense held Eastridge scoreless for two quarters (2nd and 3rd). Defenseman Brandon Cheeseman had 10 ground balls and defenseman Joe Prestigiacomo had 8. Goalie Andrew Hosenfeld had another solid day in the cage making 15s/9ga for the Thunder.
  
Scoring for the Thunder were Nate Wallenhorst (3g-2a), Phil Bond (1g), Eric Bodine (2g), Joe Prestigiacomo (1a) and Phil Lane (2g-2a). Andrew Hosenfeld had 15s/9ga. (50:54) for Greece Ath/Ody.
  
Scoring for Eastridge were Matt Driffill (4g-3a), Brandon Moynihan (4g-3a) and Adam Sisson (1g). Eugene Fererra made 7s/8ga for the Lancers.
    

Spencerport 11 - Greece Arc/Oly 3

redspot Spencerport's Zach Bevilacqua had a great game in net, making some acrobatic saves before coming out due to an injury as the Cadets beat Greece Arc/Oly 11-3 at East Rochester High School.
  
Kyle Breach lead the attack for the Rangers with 3g, followed by sophomore Nick Fischer with 2g-1a. Senior defenseman Dave Wychorski had an assist after an athletic clear. Freshman LSM Andrew Sformo proved once again that he truly belongs at the varsity level, playing great body position defense, and completing some impressive take-aways. Along with 2g-1a, Justin Putt won 11 of 12 face offs. The Ranger defense again showed its strength at clears by successfully clearing the defensive zone in 15 of 16 attempts.

Scoring for Spencerport were Kyle Breach (3g), Nick Fischer (2g-1a), Justin Putt (2g-1a), Sean DeMers (2g), Luciano Petrella (1g-1a), Rich LaRock (1g) and Dave Wychorski (1a). Mike Palvino played in the goal for most of the game (41:30) and recorded 15s/2ga and Tyler Lariviere played the last 6:30 and made 2s/1ga for the Cadets.

Scoring for Lightning were Chris Hellmers (1g-1a), Kevin Martin (1g), Joe Malovics (1g), Dustin Emmi (1a) and Brandon Wood (1a). Zach Bevilacqua played for 27 mins and recorded 10s/9ga and Anthony White finished the game (21 mins) with 3s/2ga for the Lightning.
