May 14, 2007 - Victor, Geneva and Penn Yan had overwhelming victories today, while Midlakes won a most closely
contested game against Bath.
Victor scored 12 unanswered goals in
the first half on their way to a 15-1 win against Spencerport in a non-league
game at Victor.
Scoring for Victor were Frank Valenti(4g), Alex Rogemoser(3g-1a), Jason
Houtenbrink(1g-2a), Steve Hearn(1g-2a), Ethan Payne(1g-1a), Eric Willman(1g-1a),
Kurt Sullivan(1g-1a), Andy Savage(1g), Josh Sahr(1g), Tomas Campos(1g)
and Tom Rogemoser(2a).
Mitchell Liegerot played for the first half, making 3s/0ga and Cody
Bennett played in the goal in the other half recording 1s/1ga for the
Blue Devils (9-7).
Scoring Spencerport's goal was Justin Putt (1g). Mike Palvino played
in the goal of a half, making 8s/12ga (40%) and Brad O'Keefe played
for a half, making 6s/3ga (67%) for Spencerport (4-10).
Penn Yan improved their record to 12-4
with their 20-1 win over visiting Mynderse.
Scoring for the Mustangs were Matt Osgood (4g-4a0,
Adam Trombley (4g-3a), Ryan Cook (1a), John Linnan (1g-2a), Brandon
Trombley (2g-1a), Mike Manley (1a), Ty Trombley (2g), Josh Perrault

and Justin Galusha (1g). RK Wickham played for one quarter and made
one save, Justin Galusha had 1 save for the remained less 4 minutes
which was played by Ryan Cook. No report from

Out shooting Newark, 44-16, Geneva improved
their record to 12-4 with their 17-3 win over visiting Newark.
Scoring for Geneva were Alex Love (6g-4a), Kyle Boncaro (3g-3a), Greg
Bonney (3g-2a), Eric Legott (2a), Matt Augustine (1g-1a), RJ Gringeri
(1g-1a), Jim Warner (1g), Eric Peterson (1g), Dave DeRaddo (1g), John
Warner (1a) and Tyler Travis (1a). Matt Schutz made 3s and Kyle Brimm
4s.
Colin Johnson scored all three goals for Newark. Josh Putnam had 11s
and Rob Hartman added 1s for Newark (6-9). No report from Newark.
Midlakes overcame a 2-2 tie in the first
and led at the half 5-4. After scoring 6 more in the second half they
won their game with Bath 11-7.
