Friday - Penn Yan over Canandaigua
 -  In a much anticipated game, Penn Yan avenged an earlier loss to Canandaigua, with an exciting last minute 8-7 home victory. Midlakes held of a late effort by Pal-Mac, Livonia put themselves into the finals of the GRALL Championship and Geneva and Waterloo were winners in Friday action.
  
red dot Defenseman, Mike Manley scored the game winner with 0:12 seconds left in the game to give Penn Yan an 8-7 win over visiting Canandaigua.
       
Although Penn Yan scored first, the game went back and forth and after a 4-4 tie, Canandaigua scored two goals to take a 6-4 lead. Penn Yan then returned with three in a row before the Braves tied it back up at 7-7.
     
Scoring for Penn Yan were Matt Osgood (2g), John Linnan (2g-1a), Brandon Trombley (1g), Michael Manley (3g) while Don Benedict and Ryan Cook each added one assist. RJ Wickham was a key player for the Mustangs, recording 13s/7ga (65%) who improved their record to 11-4.
     
Scoring for Canandaigua were Connor Henderson (3g-1a), Charlie Sauter (1g-1a), Justin Tomzak (1g), Jeremy Brown (1a), Brian Scheetz (1g) and AJ Groot (1g). Scott Bement who made some key saves, ended the game with 16s/8ga (67%) for Canandaigua (13-2).
     
red dot Midlakes held off a hard pressing Red Raider third quarter effort to capture an 8-5 win at Pal-Mac. The game was tied after the first quarter and the Eagles led 4-2 at the half. Midlakes had the lead after three quarters (6-5).
  
"We were very fortunate to pull this one off," said a happy Coach Doan after the game. "Our goalkeeper kept us in the game with great play in the cage."
  
Scoring for Midlakes were Glen Stevenson (2g-1a), Tyler Brooks-Lambert (1g-3a), Nick Newland (4g), Travis Bevins (1g) and Rob Barber (1a). Jared Schoonerman had 18s/5ga (78%) for the Eagles (6-8).
  
Scoring for Pal-Mac were Cody Clement (2g), Pete Maklos (1g-1a), Ryan Buckley (1g-1a), Mike Christ (1g) and Steve VanDewalle (1a). Jon Reeves made 4/8ga for P-M (3-12).
  
red dot Eleven players made the scorebook as Livonia earned a birth in the finals of the GRALL championship with a 14-7 win over visiting Bath. The Bulldogs will face McQuaid Jesuit next Thursday to determine the GRALL Champion for 2007.
  
Scoring for the Bulldogs were Tyler Russell (5g-1a), Brian Sciera (3g-3a), Jim Crowell (1g-1a), Jeff Wester (1g-1a), Oren Taylor (2a), Cameron Ross (2a) and Sean Lanpher (1a), while Kyle Olson, Aaron Miller, Chris Bausch and Sullivan Ludwig each added one goal. Justin Becker recorded 10s/7ga (59%) for Livonia (10-5).
  
Scoring for Bath were Dave Harris (3g-1a), Brad Fuerst (1g), Andy Nesbitt (1g), John Pruyn (1g), Nick Venuti (1g), Steve Joint (1a), Mike Joint (1a) and Mckenzie Durham (2a). Chris Wolfer had 10s/14ga for the Rams.
  
red dot Geneva started with a 4-1 first quarter lead and then outscored Victor 10-2 in the second quarter on their way to a 15-5 win.
  
Scoring for Geneva were Alex Love (4g), Jim Warner (3g-2a), John Warner(3g-1a), RJ Gringeri(3g), Kyle Boncaro(1g-2a), Greg Bonney(1g-1a) and Andy Torruella (1a). Matt Schutz had 11s/4ga (73%) and Kyle Brimm 0s/1ga finished for the Panthers (11-4).
  
Scoring for Victor were Ethan Payne (2g), Andy Savage (1g), Frank Valenti (1g), Steve Hearn (1g), Jason Houtenbrink (1a) and Alex Rogemoser (1a). Mitchell Liegerot: played in the goal for the first half, recording 10s/10ga and Cody Bennett finished the game with6s/5ga for the Blue Devils (8-7).
  
red dot updated Waterloo took a 4-1 first quarter lead and scored five unanswered goals in the second before beating host Newark 12-5.
