Monday Games - Lightning
 -  Four games were scheduled, but two were interrupted by lighting strikes in the area. The three winners were Victor, Midlakes and Newark.
  
The Waterloo - Mynderse game was suspended with 5:36 to play in the 2nd quarter with the score 5-5 due to lightning. Time to continue has not been determined at this point. The game will be continued at a date to be determined
       
 Victor defeated Livonia 14-7 this afternoon at Victor. savage
  
Livonia controlled the game early as the Bulldogs scored the first two goals. At 10:01 and 7:20, Livonia scored two fast-break goals. The first was scored by Tyler Russell (assisted by Oren Taylor), the latter was by Taylor (unassisted). Victor finally made the scoreboard with 5:18 remaining as they found their own fast-break goal. Senior defenseman Tim Gallahan stripped the ball, and upon picking up his own ground ball and clearing the ball to Frank Valenti who assisted Andy Savage. Valenti ended the game with 5g-1a and Savage ended with 3g. Livonia scored another fast-break goal (Brian Sciera from Chris Baush) and Victor ended the scoring for the first quarter with the score 3-2 in favor of the Bulldogs. Valenti scored the last goal with 1:19 remaining as he picked up a ground ball on the crease and finished it with the goal.
  
The second quarter saw Victor outscoring Livonia 3-1. All three goals for the Blue Devils were scored by Valenti, and each with a different player assisting. The first goal was assisted by Brian Chapman, the second (a man-up goal) by Alex Rogemoser, and the third from Jason Houtenbrink. Victor scored the last two goals of the quarter and continued their domination, scoring all five goals in the third quarter.
    
The third quarter began 4-5 but ended 4-10. Each of the five goals were scored by a different Blue Devil. Alex Rogemoser, Savage, Eric Willman, Valenti, and Tom Rogemoser each scored a goal. Alex Rogemoser's goal was assisted by Houtenbrink while Tom Rogemoser's was assisted by Steve Hearn, the three remaining goals were unassisted.
  
Victor led 4-3 in the fourth quarter. Livonia scored three of the first four goals, taking the score to 7-11. That was the closest that the Bulldogs got, as, on the ensuing face-off Kurt Sullivan won his own face-off and took the ball in for a goal. Victor scored the last two goals of the contest, with the final goal scored on the back-up goalie for Livonia.
  
Alex Rogemoser for Victor ended the game 9/13 (69%) on face-offs and his teammate Josh Sahr was 7/11 (64%). Jim Crowell, for Livonia, ended the game 9/25 (36%).
    
Scoring for Victor were Valenti (5g-1a), Savage (3g), Alex Rogemoser (2g-1a), Houtenbrink (1g-2a), Hearn (2a), Willman (1g), Rom Rogemoser (1g), Sullivan (1g), and Brian Chapman (1a). Mitchell Liegerot ended the game with 8s/7ga (53%) for Victor who improved their record to 5-3.
  
Scoring for Livonia were Russell (3g-2a), Taylor (1g-2a), Brian Sciera (2g), Paul Nebbia (1g) and Chris Bausch (1a). Justin Becker, who played 45 min, ended with 8s/13ga (38%) while and Aaron Miller was 1s/1ga (50%) for the Bulldogs (4-4).
  
In a close game, Midlakes was declared the 9-7 winner over Batavia in a game that was ended by lightning with just less than 3:00 left in the game. The teams were tied at one at the end of the first quarter and Midlakes was ahead 4-3 at the half. The Eagles took a 2-1 advantage in the third and the teams tied 3-3 in the fourth quarter.
  
Scoring for Midlakes were Nick Newslands (4g), Glen Stevenson (2g), Tyler Brooks-Lambert (1g-3a), Clay Hemminger (2g-2a). Jared Schoonerman had 18s/7ga (72%) for the Eagles (2-3)
  
Scoring for Batavia were Ian Chapman (2g-2a), Joe Muoio (2g-3a), Will Mulcahy (2g), Chip Chapman (1g-2a). Matt Lanfried had 25s/9ga (74%) for the Blue Devils (0-7).   
  
It was Newark 7-4 over Pal Mac. Newark built up a 3-0 lead into the second quarter on two goals from Stephen Johnson and another from Matt Clemons. Pal Mac responded in the second quarter, tying the score at three when Newark was two men down on a goal from Mike Christ. Just before halftime, Newark took the lead for good on a goal from Colin Johnson with :01 seconds remaining in the half. The second half remained tight throughout with Pal Mac taking multiple shots.

Scoring for Newark were Steven Johnson (3g-1a), Colin Johnson (2g-4a) while Adam Golding and Matt Clemons each added 1g and John Barrett and Kevin Granger each added 1a. Goalie Josh Putnam had 21s/4ga (84%) for the Reds (2-3).

Scoring for Pal-Mac were Ryan Buckley (1g-1a), Mike Christ, Dan Evans and Jordon Wirthman with 1g each and Jeremy Norsen and Justin Cclosser who each added 1a. Jon Reeves recorded 6s/7ga (36%) for P-M (1-5).
