took a 6-1 half-time lead and finished 9-2
over HFL at a game played at Irondequoit
High School on Sunday afternoon. The first
quarter ended with the Warriors up 2-1,
and the defense then held the Cougars off
until they scored in the last quarter.
Leading the charge for Schroeder were junior
attackmen Grant Catalino (1g-3a) and Austin
Orsini (2g). Sophomore attackman Mike Tota
added 2g and junior midfielder Andy Winslow
scored 1g-1a. Senior middies Joe Didia and
Chris Ferry and sophomore midfielder Nick
Mooney each added 1g while senior attackman
Eric Chavoustie and senior midfielder Jay
Wilmes each added 1a for the Warriors.
Close defenseman Tim Winslow, Drew Palmer
and Eric Horath along with LSM Chris Nicodemi
and Short stick middies John Pawluk and
Anthony Stirpe held HFL to 20 Shots. Senior
goalie Dennis Costanza made ten Saves.

Thomas in a game played on Sunday at Irondequoit
High School, as the Raiders used seven players
to win 13-5. Senior attackmen Pat Reilly
(4g) and Pete Burkhardtt (3g) led the scoring
for Fairport. Junior attackman Mike Danylyshyn,and
senior middies Jeff Sanna and Ryan Lowe
each produced 2g-1a. Senior midfielders
Dave Burke (2a) and Craig Nairn (1a) also
made the scorebook.
Four midfielders including Sanna, Burke,
Nairn and junior Todd Sturcken combined
for 18 winning faceoffs against 5 for Thomas.
Senior goalies Geoff Mayor (3/3) and Zach
Harris (5/2) combined for 8 saves for the
