Wednesday: First Game of the Year
 -  Bath Haverling had the honor of this first game of the new season as they traveled to Corning West who won the contest 16-2. The Vikings, who scored 13g in the first half also won 14 faceoffs in the opener for both teams.
  
Corning West saw 3g from junior attackman Mike Tammaro and two each from Craig Smith and Jay Stearns. Ben Mauer, Matt Astolfi, Chase Bailey, Scott Little and Matt Piersons each scored goals for the Vikings.
  
Senior attackman Zac Conrad and sophomore attackman David Harris figured in the scoring for the Rams along with sophomore middie McKenzie Durham. Bath senior goalie Jeremiah Wilder made 15 saves including two which Chris Gill of the Coring Leader called "spectacular"
