Bath Coach Ken Didomineck as the Rams
beat visiting Newark 11-10 in double overtime.
With Newark up, 10-6, with 5:08 left in the game, the
Rams scored 4 goals to force the tie including two goals
in the last 27 seconds of regulation. Liam Glover (2g-4a)
passed to Richie Zajac (1g-1a) who then scored the tying
goal with 2 seconds left in the game. Both teams were
very patient on offense in the first overtime. Liam Glover
(on a feed from Richie Zajac) scored the winning goal
with 2:25 left in the second overtime.
Bath scoring was led by midfielders Jeremy Sutfin (3g),
McKenzie Durham (1g), Steve Joint (1g) and Brian Fisher
(1a). The Bath attack also saw points from Ryan Finney
(2g) and Chris Osborne (1g). Bath defender Alex Durham
had 3 assists while goalie Jeremiah Wilder had 10 saves
for the Rams (4-9).
Newark's scoring was led by Dan Mizro (4g), Kyle Burm
(2g-2a), Jason Johnson (1g-1a), Nate Johnson (1g-1a),
Adam Golding (1g), Luke Walton (1g), Tim Smith (1a) and
Alex Quku (1a). Goalie Anthony Cole had 11 saves for the
Reds (2-12). |
