improved their record to 4-0 with a night game
win
at host Brighton, 17-5. After building a 5-3 lead in the
first, the Cougars exploded in the second with 8 goals
to Brighton's 1 to end the half up 13-3. Seven different
players contributed to the 17 goals, 11 of which were
assisted (65%).
Leading the Cougar effort were senior attackmen Jeff Price
(6g-3a) and Mike Cintineo (4g-3a) along with midfielders
David Uzialko (4g-2a), Dan Layfield (3g) and John Cintineo
(1a). Juniors Connor Burgasser and Chris Stanton each
added an assist for HFL. Senior goalie Mike Bribane had
15 saves for the Cougars.
Brighton's senior attackman Mike Ryerson scored 4g and
junior attackman James Ryan added another goal for the
Barons (2-1). No report

It was Irondequoit
over host Pittsford, 14-9 as Eagles took a 4-0 first quarter
lead and played even 4-4 in the second to finish the half
up 8-4. Irondequoit continued their lead and at 14-6 with
7:05 left in the game, The Panthers scored their last
three goals in a two minute period as senior midfielder
Dylan Bittlingmaier scored with an assist by senior attackman
Jake Boyce, followed by goals by Boyce and junior attackman
Joe Pekich.
Irondequoit's effort was led by junior middie Mickey Haight
(4g-1a) and senior middies Sean Doyle (3g-1a) and Cory
Bottiglier (2g-3a). Junior attackmen Derek Pino (4a) and
Joe Parker (2g-1a) contributed along with senior middies
Aaron Bottazzo and Zack Pixley and sophomore midfielder
Kevin Coholan who each added goals for the Eagles. Senior
goalie Dylan Crary made 15 saves for Irondequoit (3-1).
Pittsford saw scoring from Boyce (4g-2a), Bittlingmaier
(2g), and single goals from Pekich, junior attackman JJ
Postel, and junior midfielder Greg Gans, while senior
attackman Justin Rand added 2a and junior defenseman Bert
Schoff added an assist. Senior goalie Steve Mathews recorded
8 saves for the Panthers (1-2).

Geneva
came up with a big 13-1 win over visiting Victor and celebrated
the first win over the Blue Devils in three years. The
Panthers scored 5 unanswered goals in the first and 4
more in the second to take a 9-0 halftime lead.
"The defense played great," said Geneva Coach
LJ Russell.
Senior attackman Chris Toner had 4g, sophomore
attackman Greg Bonney scored 3g-1a while senior attackman Mike
Toner added 2g-1a for Geneva. Jake Queener, Mike Guard, Henry
Heaton and John Manion each added goals and Carson Poole, RJ
Gringeri, and Mark Bloom each recorded assists. Sophomore middie
Matt Warner added 2 assists for the Panthers (1-1).

Schroeder had another high scoring game with its 19-9
win over host Rush-Henrietta as senior attackmen Tom Costanza
(5g-1a) and Jack Mooney(5g-2a) each scored five goals and junior
attackman Chris Ferry added 3g-2a. Schroeder took the first
quarter lead 4-2 and then broke it open in the second to end
the half up 10-5. In the second half the Warriors out scored
the Comets 9-4.
Senior middie Mike Catalino finished the game with 2g-1a, as
did sophomore midfielder Mike Barilla (2g-2a) while junior middie
John Pawluk junior attackman Eric Chavoustie each added a goal
for Schroeder. Sophomore attackman Grant Catalino recorded 3a
for the Warriors. Junior goalie Dennis Costanza recorded 11
saves (8 ga) and senior goalie Andy Peter made 1 save (1ga)
as the Warriors improve their record to 2-2.
Rush-Henrietta saw scoring from junior midfielder Tony Henriquez
(3g-1a), senior attackman Brian McShea (3g), and sophomore attackman
Brian Hantzis (1g-3a). Senior attackman Sam Hillmon (1g), senior
middie Nick Garnier (1g-1a) and sophomore attackman Matt Morin
(2a) also hit the books for the R-H. Senior defenseman AJ LaLonde
and sophomore defenseman Chris Reinhardt led the ground ball
effort with five. Senior goal tender James Lally (7s) and sophomore
Matt McShea (2s) split the duties for the Royal Comets (0-3).
Host Aquinas won their opening GRALL
contest over Bath-Haverling, 13-4 as junior attackmen
David Schmandt (3g-3a) and Chris Roland (2g-3a) led the
effort. Freshman midfielder Marc Brondon added 1g-2a for
the Little Irish (2-1).
Bath saw scoring from senior middie Jeremy Sutfin (2g),
while senior attackmen Liam Glover and Ryan Finney added
goals and senior midfielder Richie Zajac added an assist.
Bath drops to (0-3).

Penn
Yan took a 3-0 first quarter lead and then advanced to
4-1 before Canandaigua exploded with
the next 11 goals to take the much anticipated game with
a 12-5 final. Outstanding defense was played by seniors
Ed Walsh, Mike Serron, and Ryan Cunningham and sophomore
short stick defender Charlie Sauter for the Braves.
Leading the scoring for CA were senior middie Dan Groot
(3g-2a), and senior attackmen Chris Mulheron (1g-5a) and
Aaron Manzer (3g). Scoring one goal each were senior middies
Brian Hadsell, Tyler Emery
and Nick Boylan along with sophomore attackman Jeremy
Brown and senior attackman Kyle Wakefield. Senior midfielder
Albert Gianforti won 16 of 21 face offs for CA while junior
goal tender Dan Serafine made 12 saves for the Braves
(2-0).
Junior midfielder Dan Mesler scored 2g for Penn Yan. Sophomore
middie Dan Wolfe, junior midfielder Steve Carlson and
junior attackman Ben O'Dell each scored a goal and junior
attackman Dan McGuffie added 2a for the Mustangs. Sophomore
goalie made 9 saves for Penn Yan (0-2).
The Livonia
Boy’s Lacrosse Team improved it’s record on
the season to 2 – 1 by defeating the Newark Red’s
11 – 4 Thurs. afternoon on Saunders Field. What
started out to be a tight contest between the two schools
in the first quarter turned into a one sided win for the
bulldogs there after.
Sophomore midfielder Adam Schaible got the Bulldogs on
the board just 2:00 into the game on an unassisted goal.
Newark roared back to take a 3-1 lead on several unsettled
transition goals. Nat Johnson, Jason Johnson, and Dan
Mizro all scored goals in the run. Livonia attackman Scott
Mosher scored on an assist from fellow attackman Brian
Sciera to make the Score 3-2. Senior middie Josh Hendrickson
scored unassisted to tie the score at 3 as the first quarter
ended.
At the quarter the Livonia coaches made adjustments to
the defense the Bulldog defensemen effectively shut down
Newark for the rest of the game. Close defenders Shane
Moran, Andy Kurtz, Jeremy Allston, and goal keeper Aaron
Jamison held Newark to just one goal during the finals
three quarters. Jamison recorded 13 saves in the victory.
Scoring for the Bulldogs were Scott Mosher (4g), Josh
Hendrickson (3g-1a), Brian Sciera (1g-2a), Adam Schaible
(2g), Shawn Wright (1g), and Chad Britton (1a). Andy Kurtz
led Livonia in ground balls with 6 while John Dalberth,
Hendrickson, Luke Merritt, and Oren Taylor each scooped
up 5 grounders for Livonia (2-1).
For Newark junior attackmen Nate Johnson and Dan Mizro,
senior attackman Jason Johnson and junior middie Greg
MacBride each had goals.

Spencerport
was the home team winner 12-9 over Greece on Thursday
after taking a 4-3 first quarter lead to a 7-7 half-time
tie. The second half proved to be the difference as the
Cadets outscored the Thunder 5-2. Junior attackman Rob
Stojanov and sophomore attackman Pat Decker each had 4
goals for Spencerport (2-1).
Greece saw 5g from senior attackman Joe Hallowell and
3g-2a from junior attackman Dave Rodrigues while sophomore
attackman Matthew Machucki added 1g-1a. Sophomore middie
Nick Kulzer helped with 3a and senior defenseman Cody
List had an assist. Senior goalie Orlando Villegas had
8 saves for the Thunder (1-3).
Waterloo
beat Mynderse Thursday night with a score of 14-5 as the
Indians were led by senior middie T.J. Radka (4g–1a),
junior attackman Winston Boyd (3g-3a),
senior middies Gordy Lahr (2g-2a) and Jason Johnson =
(1g-3a). Also scoring were senior middie Matt Kaiser (1g-2a),
sophomore middie Josh Mateo (2g-1a) and junior attackman
Bill Jolly (1g). Senior goalie Pat DeBolt recorded 7 saves
for Waterloo (4-0).

Sophomore
middie Tom Rynn won all 10 of his face offs as Fairport
beat Webster Thomas 11-4 at Minerva Deland School Thursday.
Junior midfielder Ryan Lowe led the Red Raider offense
with 4g, while junior attackman Pat Reilly added 2g-3a.
Rynn added 1g-2a and senior middie Chris Lindner contributed
3g. Adding to the Fairport score were Pete Burkhardtt
(1g-1a), Mike Danylyshyn (2a), and Jeff Sanna (1a). Juniors
Geoff Mayor (5s-1ga) and Zach Harris (3s-3ga) split the
goalie assignment for the Red Raiders (3-0).
Sophomore attackman Brandon Rothfuss scored 2g-1a for
Thomas (0-3).

Churchville-Chili
was the winner over Hilton 11-6 as
senior Brad Gurbacki scored 3g-3a and won 14
of 21 faceoffs for the Saints. Sophomore midfielder Corey
Mee added 2g for C-C (2-1).

3g and Brett Bridges added 2g-1a for the Cadets (1-2).
