Travis Ford

Thomas senior midfielder Travis Ford helped his team to win three games including and exciting overtime win against Pittsford. Ford scored 3g-2a in the Pittsford game, 4g-2a in the Titan 12-8 win over Schroeder and 4g-1a when Thomas defeated Irondequoit 12-10.

The nationally ranked midfielder, who will be playing at Fairfield next year, has a four year career totals (thus far) of 143g-73a.

Thomas Head Coach Rob Ruller says, "Travis is an outstanding offensive player. He has been a constant force for our program for the past four years. We are going to miss him greatly next year. I can call Travis any day of the year and say I am going down to the field meet me there for shooting and he will come. His leadership and determination have helped our program continually compete at the highest level. I have enjoyed teaching him for the past few years."

Senior defenseman and long stick midfielder Ben Cafolla from Mynderse has been an important part of the Mynderse program helping in nearly all phases of the game. In the Livonia game (5/19) he registered 9 takes and 13 ground balls for the Blue Devils.

This year he as earned 13g-12a with a long stick giving him a total of 30g-18a in his four year career. He will be attending Alfred University in the fall.

Mynderse Head Coach Scott Sciera has a lot to say about his senior leader. "In the two games against Livonia, he won over 60% of the face offs. The first game he ended with 1 goal and 5 assists all from pushing it forward off of face offs wins. Yesterday, down 3 with 54 seconds left in the game, we scored on man up. He then won the two biggest face offs of the year. He won the first draw while drawing a tripping penalty allowing us to score another man up goal with 37 seconds left. He also won the next face off to put us in position to tie the game."

"In my opinion, he is one of the best on the ball defenders in the section, leading section V in takes. He goes and gets the ball without getting beat to the goal. I can count the number of times he's gotten beaten for a goal when playing on the ball with one hand. In the Livonia games his defense and transition work was the key to our success."

"His ability to pick up ground balls and change ends of the field either with his legs or by finding the open man has allowed us so many unsettled opportunities and helped our offense start to click on all cylinders."
