Monday: Seeding Holds in Out Brackets - Mynderse Wins in OT
 - 
  There were no upsets in the Section Five tournaments in the out bracket rounds as the higher seeded teams won in each case. Mynderse had a close one with Livonia, winning 10-9 in overtime. Spencerport scored a bunch of goals in the fourth quarter to beat Brockport 19-14. Other winners today were Bath, who claimed their 100th win, McQuaid Jesuit, Pal-Mac, Brighton and Geneva.

--  GAME NOTES: The final game of the regular season saw Mynderse defeating Livonia 17-14. In the first round of sectionals, Livonia forced overtime, but the result was the same. Mynderse won 10-9 when Brad Sandroni scored a goal with 0:43 remaining in the first overtime period. Unlike Thursday`s game, this game took a defensive tone from the first quarter. Livonia got on the board at 7:09 of the first with a goal from Tim Lischer. Mynderse took 12 shots in the first with no luck as Justin LaDuke had 5 of his 14 for the Rams.

Livonia scored two quick goals to start the second period with Lischer scoring the first and assisting the second to Reid Mattle. The Bulldogs led 3-0 with 10:14 remaining in the half. Mynderse got their offense churning midway through the second, with a three minute stretch where they scored 4 goals. Scott Kline started the scoring with an unassisted goals, dodging down the right hand side. The second came from Jake Curran, as he worked the crease after getting a feed from Kline. Twenty-three seconds later, after a face off win by Ben Cafolla, Cody Warshel scored with a feed from Nick Shaffer. The fourth game was scored by Shaffer finishing on the crease with a feed from Warshel. Mynderse took the 4-3 lead into halftime.

In the third quarter, Livonia tied the game early and took the lead back going into the fourth quarter. Nick Kallio and Kirk Kornbau scored back to back for the Bulldogs to give them a 5-4 lead less than 90 seconds into the half. The only Blue Devil goal of the third quarter were scored by Scott Kline (unassisted). Livonia added one more goal to end the quarter up by one (6-5).

--  SPORTSFIVE REPORT: Spencerport scored six unanswered goals at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth to take the lead and defeat Brockport 19-14. Before the stretch, the game was tied 12-12. Spencerport scored the first goal of the game when Owen VanWie scored his unassisted goal five minutes into the game. The Blue Devils kept the game close and tied for the first quarter. Each time Spencerport scored, Brockport tied the game within one minute. Austin Manchester scored 0:27 later to tie the game 1-1.

Jonathan Agness gave the Rangers the lead with a feed from Victor Pascucci. This time it took 0:38 to tie the game. Tucker Sutphen scored for the Blue Devils. With 2:01 remaining, Jack Lehtonen scored for Spencerport to go up 3-2. 0:34 later Austin Myers scored for Brockport. The game was tied 3-3 after the first quarter. In the second quarter the scoring was in runs. Spencerport scored the first four goals to lead 7-3. With 6:53 remaining, Brockport scored the first of his three goals to bring the game within one.
