  Gananda ruined Wayne`s undefeated season with a one goal win (10-9) on this last Saturday of the regular season. Brockport took a one goal win from Eastridge and Brighton was a 9-6 winner over visiting Lightning. Other winners were Midlakes, Victor, Pittsford, Churchville-Chili, Bath, Irondequoit and Bloomfield-Honeoye.

--  SPORTSFIVE REPORT: Gananda won their seventh straight game this season, this time against previously undefeated Wayne 10-9. The Panthers had previously lost to Wayne 15-14 in overtime earlier in the season. The Blue Panthers were looking to knock off one of the three remaining undefeated teams. Gananda led for nearly the entire game with the Eagles only led once and only for 5:45 of the 48 minutes.

The first half was close before the Panthers went on a scoring run. They scored six out of seven straight goals starting in the beginning of the second quarter and going late into the third. Gananda opened the scoring with Kyle Lombardozzi scoring 1:04 into the game. Wayne quickly tied with Billy Thomson scoring off a feed from Cooper Pieroni. The Blue Panthers scored their second with Patrick Shanley assisting Cruz Mayberry. Wayne`s Jack Camp scored the tying goal and then four minutes later scored the go-ahead goal to give the Eagles their first and only lead. They held the lead 3-2 until the end of the first quarter.

Beginning the second, Gananda took control of the game. They scored three (Remmy Glod, Mayberry and Dylan Joy) before Wayne scored. Camp scored his third goal of the game with 7:19 remaining in the half. The Eagles did not score again for 16:45, until late in the third. Gananda added another set of three goal (Joe Fisher, Lombardozzi 2) to take an 8-4 lead with 4:25 left in the third quarter. They attempted to hold off a late advance by the Eagles, but couldn`t.

The Eagles scored four unanswered goals to force a tie with 0:34 remaining in regulation. Jon Ecker scored two, Trevor Gross and Camp scored one each. Camp scored his final goal of the night (unassisted) to tie the game. Gananda won the final face off and Lombardozzi scored his fourth goal of the night with a feed from Glod with only 0:03 remaining in regulation. Glod was impressive at the draw and finished 16/22 (73%).

--  SPORTSFIVE REPORT: In a game that was tied seven times, Brockport scored the game winning goal with 1:17 remaining on the clock to secure the 13-12 win over Eastridge. Both teams led during the game with the Lancers holding the lead for much of the second half. Their largest lead was three goals (in the fourth quarter). The Blue Devils never led by more than one goal.

Eastridge scored the opening goal 1:10 into the contest. Donovan Fagan scored the first of his 2g-2a for the Lancers. Twelve seconds later, Chad Tobey scored with an assist from Austin Myers to tie the game for the first time at 1-1. Four minutes later, the Blue Devils took their first lead with Tobey assisting Austin Manchester. They held the lead for two minutes before back to back goals gave the lead back to the Lancers. CJ Hiscock and Fagan scored for Eastridge. The final goal of the quarter was scored by Myers. The quarter ended with the score tied 3-3.

Only three goals were scored in the second quarter with Brockport adding one (Nick Vergari) and Eastridge adding two (Andrew Doktor and Phil Peindel). The Lancers led 5-4 at the half. In the third quarter Eastridge began to increase their lead. After back and forth scoring, Jake Lynch scored for the Lancers with 3:17 remaining in the third quarter to give them the 8-6 lead that held until the final quarter.

Nearly half the scoring came in the final quarter. Brockport won the final quarter 7-4 to take the lead. Doktor\'s second goal of the night gave the Lancers their largest lead (9-6). The three goal lead held for 1:36 before Brockport scored three straight to tie the game at 9-9. Doktor scored two more to give Eastridge another lead, but Brockport responded with three more to take back the lead for the first time since the beginning of the second quarter. 0:11 after Brockport\'s go ahead goal, Eastridge tied the game for the final time with another unassisted goal from Doktor. With 1:17 remaining in the game, Tobey scored his fifth goal of the game to secure the win for Brockport.
