November 18, 2015 - Coach Brian Hobart helped three seniors celebrate the signing of their NCAA Division I National Letters of Intent on Tuesday.
Gage Ponsetti, a goalie who will start his senior year with 162 saves, will study and play lacrosse at Siena College (near Albany). He is planning for a career in physical therapy and hopes to specialize in working with athletes.
He will be joining his current teammate Sean Emerson who also signed his NLI for Siena College. Emerson, an attackman, will begin his fifth year on the Mustang Varsity with 125g-100a. He was named to the first team Section Five All Section list and was named to the Class C All Tournament team as a junior. He is planning to study marketing at Siena while playing for Head Coach John Svec.
Senior midfielder Austin Fingar will be off to Cornell University after graduation this spring to study in the renowned Agricultural Sciences program. Austin has been with the Mustang Varsity since his freshman year and will start his final season with 73g-71a. He was named to the first team All Section Five list and was the Class C Tournament MVP last season.
