Dylan Joy and Remmy Glod Sign Letters

Gananda NLI Gananda High School celebrated with two seniors who signed National Letters of Intent on Monday morning.

Long stick/defenseman Dylan Joy has accumulated many awards and accolades since he started playing with the Blue Panther Varsity as an eighth grader. A three-time first team all Finger Lakes defenseman, he as been twice named to the first team All Section Five list and twice named as the Finger Lakes Player of the year in defense. Last spring he was named a US Lacrosse All American.

Dylan honored the commitment that he made as a sophomore to study and play lacrosse at the University of Vermont.

Also signing his letter of intent was midfielder/face off specialist, Remmy Glod, who will stay a bit closer to home when he becomes a Redhawk at Roberts Wesleyan College. Winning over seventy percent of his face offs last season, Remmy had a record of 211-65 and picked up 158 ground balls. He is also a two-time first team All Finger Lakes player and will start his last season with twenty career points.

Dylan and Remmy celebrated their signings with their new Head Coach, Joe Sidari.
