August 5, 2015 - The National Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association recently announced their 2015 All-America Class which included two players from Section Five.
Named to the list were Penfield goalie Willie Klan and Victor defenseman Brandon Kunick.
Brandon, a senior planning to attend Richmond, was SportsFive Sportsman of the Year and was named to the Section Five Class B All tournament team last spring.
Willie Klan will be honoring the commitment that he made, as a sophomore, to the Ohio State University when he becomes a Buckeye this fall. A US Lacrosse All American and a US National Team pool finalist, he was a starting goalie for Webster Schroeder and Penfield throughout his high school career. He accumulated 637 saves while playing 2,845 minutes in the goal. He was MC(D1) Player of the Year, named to the D&C Super Sixteen and was named to the All Section Five list.
"The NILCA was formed to provide dedicated service to high school lacrosse coaches and its players throughout the United States."
