July 25, 2015 - The Sweetlax Lacrosse Club sent a rising freshman team to the Inside Lacrosse Invitational Recruiting Tournament where they went 6-0 and took first place. The tournament, held at Goucher College (Baltimore, MD), was held from July 20-22. Sweetlax outscored opponents 75-25, allowed no more than seven goals against. The closed game, against FLG 2019 was 9-5.
Section Five players included Andrew Mapstone (HF-L, att) who scored 11g-4a, Jack Brennan (Irondequoit, att, 7g-6a), Timmy Lischer (Livonia, mid, 7g-2a), Matt Hill (Thomas, mid, 4g-1a), Sam Miller (Geneva, mid, 5g-1a), )Tyler Goode (Canandaigua, mid, 4g), Owen Ronchetti (Brighton, mid, 3g-1a), Mitch Pfeiffer (Canandaigua, mid, 2g-2a), Pat Sanna (Pittsford, def, 1g), Nick Young (McQuaid Jesuit, def, 1g), Jacob Kelsey (Brockport, mid, 1a), Sutton Boland (Victor, def) and Ethan Mann (Hilton, def).
Kelsey was named to the Blue All Star Team and Mapstone was named to the White All Star Team. Several others from the Sweetlax team were named to the all stars, including Mitch Pehlke (Stone Bridge, VA) who was named the offensive MVP and Logan McNaney (Corning, goalie) was named the defensive MVP. Kevin Martin coached the team.
