Thursday: Three More One Goal Games - Gates, HF-L and Waterloo Win
 - 
Pittsford (10-0) and Victor (9-0) remain the last two undefeated teams with their wins over Orchard Park and Rush-Henrietta. Waterloo and Gates Chili won their games in overtime and Eastridge held off advances by the Greece Lightning and won 10-9. McQuaid Jesuit beat Aquinas 4-1 in a GRALL contest and HF-L had a one goal win against Livonia. Other winners were Churchville-Chili, Pal-Mac, Gananda, Geneva and Newark.

--  NOTES:    Eastridge scored the first goal and only allowed the game to be tied once in their 10-9 win over Greece Arcadia/Olympia. The Lancers opening goal was scored by Clark Pearce with an assist from Andrew Doktor. Pearce finished the game with 3g-1a to lead his team. Attackman Donovan Fagan also finished with 3g-1a for the Lancers. Fagan scored his first goal two minutes later to give Eastridge the early 2-0 lead. Tyler Dalle scored an unassisted goal for the Lightning with 6:56 remaining in the first quarter during a man-up opportunity. Eastridge kept up the pressure with two more goals from Doktor and Ben Rebholz. Jake Mathis and Xavier Bakari scored for Greece to keep the game within a single goal after the first twelve minutes.

Dylan Bartlett tied the game for the only time with an assist from Mathis 1:31 into the second quarter. Eastridge then scored three unanswered goals to permanently secure their lead. Pearce, Fagan and Phil Peindel scored for the Lancers. Greece kept the game close for the remaining three quarters but could not tie the game again. Eastridge scored the final goal with 10:44 remaining in the final quarter with CJ Hiscock scoring off an assist from Rebholz. Eastridge led 10-7 at that point. The Lightning scored the final two goals but could not get a third. Dalle scored his fourth and final goal and Bartlett scored his second with an assist from Adrian Romero.

In the cage for Greece, Carson Butcher stepped into the cage for the first time and recorded seven saves. Butcher had never played goalie before tonight's contest. Midfielder Joseph Tortora led his team with five ground balls and defenseman Nick Santiago added another four. For Eastridge, Payton Christman recorded 18 saves.

--  NOTES:  In one of the two overtime games of the night, Gates Chili never led before winning the game in overtime 9-8 against Spencerport. The Spartans trailed, including never having the game tied, until 1:20 left in regulation. Man-up was a major factor in the game with Gates Chili scoring on 4/7 and Spencerport scoring on 2/6.

The Rangers led off the scoring with the first four goal goals. Alex Renz, Trevor Dustin and Jonathan Agness (2) scored for Spencerport in the first quarter. They led 4-0 at the conclusion of the first quarter. Gates Chili didn`t scored their first goal until 21:14 into the contest. The Spartans scored the only goal of the second quarter with a man-up goal with 2:46 remaining in the half. Brett Kirkpatrick scored with an assist from Nicholas Ehmann.

The Spartans also scored the first goal of the third quarter with another assist from Ehmann, this time to Brett Jacobs. Spencerport scored the next three goals to increase their lead to five. Dustin scored two and Agnes added the third. Each team added one more goal before the end of the quarter. Joe Talarico scored for the Spartans with an assist from Jacobs and Andrew Forte scored the Rangers. Forte, who took all the face offs for the Spencerport, finished at 68% (13/19). He also led his team in ground balls with 10. The Rangers led by five (8-3) going into the final quarter. Forte's goal ended up being their final goal as the Spartans held them scoreless for over 13 minutes.

Kirkpatrick scored the first goal of the fourth quarter with 6:56 remaining. Austin Castre scored the first of his two goals two minutes later. Back to back man-up goals from Talarico brought the game to within a single goal with 2:15 remaining. Castre scored another man-up goal to tie and send the game into overtime. After losing the face-off on a technical foul, the Spartans fought to get the ball back and Talarico scored the winning goal with 3:22 remaining in the first overtime period.
In the cage for the Spartans, Michael Cavallaro finished with 13 saves (62%). Cavallaro also led the ground ball count with nine. Talarico finished with six ground balls with Castre (5) and Joseph O'Hare (4) adding the count. For Spencerport, Patrick Chapman finished with 8 recorded saves. Adding to Forte's ground balls were Jordan Swilley (6), Agness (6) and defenseman Christ Cottom (5).

--  NOTES:  HF-L scored the final three goals to defeat Livonia 6-5. This was the first contest between Livonia and HF-L. The game had four lead changes and was tied at 1, 2, 3, and 5. With the win, HF-L snapped their five game losing streak and improved their record to 3-5. Livonia started the scoring with a man-up goal from Reid Mattle (assisted by Nick Kallio). Three minutes later HF-L used another extra man opportunity to tie the game with Alex Mapstone assisting Garrett Ruff. On the next face off Livonia scored a fast-break goal with Jonathan Mohnkern assisting Kallio. The first quarter ended with Livonia holding on to a 2-1 lead.
HF-L scored the first two goals to start the second quarter. Tyler Buckland and Ian Clark scored to give the Cougars their first lead of the game. Mattle scored the second of his four goals to tie the game again 3-3 going into halftime. Mattle added two more goals to start the third quarter with the former assisted by Zach Bishopp and the latter being unassisted. His goal with 3:41 remaining in the third quarter was the final goal for Livonia.
The fourth quarter began with a man-down goal (off an illegal cross) by Buckland with an assist from Dylan Stratton. Mapstone tied the game with an unassisted goal with 3:38 remaining in regulation. Garrett Ruff scored the game winning goal on his sixth shot of the game with 1:12 remaining. In the cage for Livonia, John Stockslader recorded five saves. Bishopp finished at 83% for the face-off draw. He also led his team with nine ground balls. Defenseman Ethan Perham and Stockslader added six ground balls each.
