-- Penn Yan has a young squad this year that includes three 8th graders, two freshmen and three sophomores, but they still behave as one of the most disciplined teams in the Section. Junior goalie Gage Ponsetti had a good day in the goal for the Mustangs (67%) and senior Ben Covert(5g) was a dominating force at the midfield. He compliments junior attackman Sean Emerson making Penn Yan a threat from both the front and from behind the cage.
Geneva senior midfielder Ethan Bakogiannis demonstrated some very strong moves at both ends of the field.
